Cleaning, stripping and sealing your saltillo and flagstone tile is necessary to maintain its unique beauty & character.
Your sealed interior Saltillo or flagstone tile was likely sealed using a water-based acrylic or urethane. It partially penetrates the tile, creating a strong bond. However over time and with normal use and cleaning, the seal breaks down and the floor gets dull and dirty.

These are floors that required a full strip, or a less aggressive deep clean to remove and/or clean the old sealers and the embedded dirty from the tile and grout. After stripping/cleaning and using our special grout treatment, the entire tile and grout is sealed with a low sheen or high gloss sealer to restore its luster.
